THE DISCIPLE’S JOURNEY
The Disciple’s Journey is a series of four books designed to disciple Christians from the new believer to long-term Christian, and to train disciples to disciple others. We invite you to download these materials free of charge. As described in the license below, you may print them, distribute them, and even charge for them, but please use them to make disciples. Just click on the “here” link below for each book you wish to download or print. You can also purchase a physical paperback copy of a Disciple’s Journey book for under $7 at LuLu.com.
The reason for the free and unrestricted use of Anchors of God discipleship resources is so that all nations, especially the poorest third world countries, have equal, free, and unrestricted access to discipleship materials. Copyright laws make it virtually impossible for millions to have access to resources they desperately need to make disciples. However, under the license below, any person with a mobile phone in any country can download this material, translate it, produce it, and even sell it if they so desire, provided they use the same license. If you are interested in translating this material for free use in other languages, please contact the author at firstname.lastname@example.org to obtain a Microsoft® Word version.
THE INVITATION STAGE (John 1:17-18)

Nine weekly sessions cover the following topics: a comprehensive understanding of grace, how the Bible was written, the twelve eras of the Bible, how to study the Bible, how to pray, how to take off the old self, how to put on the new self, a new purpose and priorities, and how to be part of the family of God. THE CALLING STAGE (Mark 1:17-18)
Resource: 7 Great Doctrines of the Bible (9 week study)
7 Great Doctrines of the Bible is a study designed to give disciples a sound foundation in Bible doctrine. Participants will learn how to discern false doctrines and how to be well grounded in the following doctrines: the doctrine God, the doctrine of Christ, the doctrine of the Holy Spirit, the doctrine of the Bible, the doctrine of salvation, the doctrine of the Church and the doctrine of last times. You may download a digital copy of 7 Great Doctrines of the Bible here.
THE CHOOSING AND SENDING STAGES (Mark 3:13-15; Luke 6:12-13; 9:1-2)
Resource: Anchoring: Living by the 7 Great Anchors of God (24 week study)
Anchoring is the most demanding course in The Disciple’s Journey. Participants will learn the discipline of anchoring as they spend three weeks each on the 7 Great Anchors of God: the anchor of the sovereignty of God, the anchor of the fatherhood of God, the anchor of the servanthood of Jesus, the anchor of the holiness of God, the anchor of the Word of God, the anchor of the faithfulness of God, the anchor of the love of God. You may download a digital copy of Anchoring here.
THE COMMISSIONING STAGE (Matt. 28:18-20)
Resource: Footprints: Following Jesus, Leading Others (9 week study)
This is a leadership book that prepares people to reproduce by leading others through the disciple’s journey they have just completed. People who complete this stage begin discipling others by starting a Spiritual Boot Camp group of new believers. In this book there is a special focus on how to develop new believers so that every new believer is personally invited to participate in a Spiritual Boot Camp group. It is our conviction that it this phase of discipleship that is neglected in many churches. A special focus on giving new believers a solid foundation is critical to successfully developing fully devoted, reproducing disciples. You may download a digital copy of Footprints here.

CAN THESE BOOKS BE USED IN OTHER WAYS?
These books were designed to be used in a series to guide people through The Disciple’s Journey, but they can be used in other ways. The first two books deal with the basics of the christian faith. Any church could use Spiritual Boot Camp as a new believers follow up course. 7 Great Doctrines of the Bible is a challenging course that provides a strong foundation for those who have completed Spiritual Boot Camp. It can also be used as an elective for committed small groups. Anchoring, at 24 weeks, is the longest and most challenging of the courses. It can be used alone as a discipleship course for believers who are already well grounded. When you review these resources you may think of other ways to use them. I hope you will feel free to use these resources in any way that will fit your needs.

America’s Vanishing Anchors is based on the premise that America was founded on four biblical anchors that made us a great nation. You will discover:
*In the words of our Founding Fathers how four anchors of our nation were based on Judeo-Christian principles.
*How these anchors can shape the character of a nation, form its worldview and determine its destiny.
*When you understand the four anchors of a nation you can discover its character and predict its actions.
*Three phases of “cultural currents” are eroding America’s historic anchors and causing them to vanish.
*How our nation could experience a “shipwreck” if we are faced with a “perfect storm”.
*How “we the people” can take practical steps to help rebuild the four historic anchors of our Founding Fathers.
HOW TO USE THIS BOOK
This book is designed to offer practical tools to help restore our anchors and rebuild the character of our nation. Questions for small group discussion are included at the end of each chapter.
